Pug-Breed Information
The Pug loves life.  They are devoted to their family, with their main goal in getting you to play.  They are
good with children and generally get along well with other animals.  They do love attention and will be sure to
let you know if you've slighted them on that.  Not a yappy dog, they will let you know if something is going on
that "they" think you should know about.
Grooming needs are pretty minimal but attention must be made to the creases.  Being a short-haired dog,
they do shed with extra shedding during spring and/or fall.
It is important to feed your Pug properly as it is very easy for them to become overweight, which is not
healthy for any dog, but especially the small breeds.  And particularly the Pug as it can contribute to
breathing problems which already exist due to the short nose.
